I didn't know it was possible! I always wanted a dash cam but I thought they all required the 12v jack--since I always have a phone charger plugged in, I figured that was the end of the story. But Feather was able to install a dash cam so that it's hard-wired into the car's electrical supply, with all the wires hidden neatly behind the trim as if it came from the factory like that. The dash cam just WORKS while I'm driving, and I don't have to do a thing. A+, 10/10, would recommend to anyone!
